Mike was in heaven...and Hayden too.

On Sunday we made ribs for dinner. I have a "Top Secret" cookbook, which has recipes from restaurants, etc, and we love the "Tony Roma's Carolina Honeys" I have to say they were pretty tasty, and I am not a big meat eater. Hayden couldn't get enough of them- he didn't want to eat anything else we had with the ribs. The BBQ sauce is what makes them so good, and it is also great with chicken. BBQ Sauce 1 cup ketchup 1 cup vinegar 1/2 cup molasses 1/2 cup honey 1 tsp. liquid smoke 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp. garlic powder and onion powder 1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce Combine all of the ingredients in a sauce pan over high heat. When mixture comes to a boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered. In 30-45 minutes when the mixture becomes thickened remove from heat. If you make the ribs, put the meat into foil, smother with the sauce, and seal foil around meat. Cook at 300 degrees for about 3 hours, or until done. Don't overcook! Remove the ribs from the foil and give them another douse of sauce. Grill the ribs on the BBQ for 2-4 minutes per side, then enjoy!
