Whew- I got rid of my 11 pounds of candy! We had a good Halloween. I made homemade chili and cornbread- yummy- we passed out candy and enjoyed every one's costumes. Hayden was a Dalmatian. He was so cute in his little costume, and to my surprise he didn't fuss about the hoodie part. His Grandma Barbour and Grandma Wyler came to see him dressed up! Hayden was so exhausted with all of the festivities that he passed out before all of the kids started coming to the door. He eventually woke up and loved having the kids come to the door. He would get so mad when they would leave and shut the door. It is hard to explain to a 15 month old that the kids were there just for candy and not to play with him. He sat in front of the door waiting for more kids to come. He was so excited and wanted to see more kids that Mike eventually took him outside so he could see every one walking around and look at the pumpkins!

You didn't take him trick-or-treating?!? I'm a bit ashamed! Just kidding, I miss our nights home on halloween, sounds like yours was fun!
He is the cutest little puppy. That was so fun seeing a picture of your mom too. Say hi to her for me. My very favorite picture is of him waiting at the door.
Can't wait to see you in a few days!
We have a blog now too.

I agree with Penelope...he IS the cutest little puppy. So sweet sitting there with his little tail behind him waiting for the kids. And you got rid of eleven lbs of candy. Wow! We had only 7 trick or treaters so we had to eat almost 3 bags of candy bars. We ate the last two tonight so they wouldn't tempt us anymore. =^) Grandma xxxooo
